Love Pool-an excerpt.

Enjoy, people. The first set of many craps has just been released.

It was February the 14th. A day when couples exchange gifts-nondescript teddies with red bowties, red roses and boxes of expensive-looking chocolates. A day when couples exchange or renew vows-" Oh (insert name of recepient here), I promise to love you with all my life!" or "We'll go to Yale together and marry before we're 25." A day also known as Valentine's Day.

It was a windy, wet day in February. Rain beat down on the grey New York sidewalk. The roads were literally choked up with yellow cabs and posh cars in the daily morning hold-up. Carmen trudged down the slippery pavement, one hand holding a strip umbrella and the other a teal-colored gift box bound with a navy ribbon.

She was on a mission, and she was determind not to let even nature ruin it.

Tall and thin, with flaming red hair, Carmen looked like a model- if a model had giant square specs and plaits. Yes, Carmen had her one beauty - the hair that made her look like her head was on fire- twisted into two fat braids that fell down past her back. It wasn't like she had one of those unmanageable, unruly curls too. Instead, it was just nice normal sliky locks that some people will pay a thousand just to achieve a similar look. Why she actually liked plaits was a mystery.

Within minutes, the red brick building also known as St Jude High came into view. The school had been around since the time of petticoats and horse-drawn carriages, but it had been an all-boys school until it was made co-circa in 1967. And for nearly fifty years the girls in the school had to follow stricter unifrom regulations than the boys. While the boys wore simple flannel pants and shirts, the girls had different uniforms for each season. Their traditonal uniform was in fact navy skirts, white blouses and grey wool socks. Their long hair had to be tied up during school hours, and all piercings, even ear studs, had to be removed during school hours, while the boys were allowed to get away with radical haircuts, tattoos and goodness knows what. Apparently, rumor has it that their headmistress, Miss Blurtter, used to be a former Lindsay Lohan wannabe and was scared her female students would turn out the same way, hence the rules.

As Carmern walked through the iron school gates, she spotted her best friend, Lena Tchaikovsky ( she's Russian) waiting for her by an apple tree that was too old to bear fruit. As Lena was opposed to the ridiculously strict uniform regulations, she had chosen to wear St Jude's summer uniform instead- pleated navy skirt, white blouse. St Jude's winter uniform actually consisted of ugly itchy wool trousers, a white blouse, and a navy blazer. It was a wonder Lena didn't have any goosebumps on her exposed knees.

"Carmen!" Lena yelled, waving frantically. As Carmen neared her friend, she saw that Lena was wearing a chokti around her neck, with knotted tie-dye rags plaited into her chestnut hair, as well as a tie-dye rag around her neck as a scarf. " I got you a present!"

And she thrusted a pink beribboned box at Carmen.

"Uh," Carmen said. " My birthday isn't until July... but thanks. "

"It's Valentine's Day, doofus. I thought chew Americans celebrate it. You chave chocolates and flowers on vat day, don't you?"

"Lena," Carmen said exasperatedly. "Only boys and girls give each other presents. Not same sex friends."

"Well, we can be lesbians, can we not?" Lena asked chummily, slipping an arm around Carmen's shoulder.

And that, people, is how far I got.

Once upon a time, there was a very greedy gurl called CarWei. She likes to eat, but unfortunately, she can eat like an elephant and still stay skinny. She can eat waffles, bubble tea and sunflower seeds and more.

Introduction (More!)

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a happy family. There's this man called Mikelise 2D. He's charming and handsome. However, he likes people to called him using "she"! She's married to an attractive woman who is of a more mature age. They were very professional and produced a lot of kids.

One of the more outstanding children is a girl called Kw 2D. (Her name's not defined.) She has the most gorgeous fringe and silky black hair... A popular and awesomely gorgeous girl she is... Jealous by a lot. Idol of many. She found her true love soon. A sophisticated girl of the same age called Angie! Angie has straight long and silky dark brown hair. A talented yet gentle girl indeed. A well-known mathematician. (And of course, with good looks.)

The product of their love for now is three sons. One of them is called ChooE 2D. ChooE is a not-so-handsome but cute guy. He (or she cos ChooE's not sure too) is married to a delicate girl... Zhyu 2D! She has a rosy complexion and a vulnerable soul. They have a son. However, this son did not get the genes of his mum, instead he got the very-much-tan skin of his "father"...

Oh! There's another main character! Sewi 2D. Sewi is a cute little girl. Sister of Angie. She has a sense of humour and a secret desire for love. She converted this desire to the ability to write words that form romance stories... A romance story where there are love and hopefully a happy ending~

Heheh. XD First time using this blogger... Gr8 news! We have a rough sketch of the story. (Obviously a LOVE story...) Sorry, I am a girly and romance kinda person...

Well. Back to the topic. The title is Love Pool. (Yeah. I came up with that. Such an AWEsome name!) It's about love and makeovers and school and boys and popularity and a lot of stuff. Fun!!!!

Hopefully, we write like a bunch of pros. Well, we have the title but no content yet. (Boohoo~ Sad.) Let's wait and see... :D

P.S. Why did I get the feeling that no one except me, ser wei, mike and qiu yi is reading this? O_o

HI GUYS.

Technically, I'm the only one who types with proper English and grammar and punctuation and stuff, so I won't need to identify myself. Heh.

Well. So no progress on the story so far, homework's kind of. :/ Yeah. Just making my mark on this blog, yes.
